Licences apply to individual datasets
KDDH brings together data from different publishers. There is no single licence covering every dataset. Open a dataset’s page and check its licence, resource notes and source attribution before reuse.
Credit the original publisher
Retain the required attribution when you reuse or adapt data. For example, data credited to the Kenya National Bureau of Statistics should continue to acknowledge KNBS, even when hosted by another publisher on KDDH.
When a licence is missing
Ask the publisher to clarify permitted uses. Do not assume that an unspecified licence means unrestricted reuse.
